How to repair the screw of pelletizer machine ?

The screw of the twisted granulator should be considered according to the actual inner diameter of the cylinder and made according to the normal clearance between the cylinder and the new screw.

After treatment for the reduced thread surface of worn screw’s diameter, Thermal spray wear-resistant alloy,And then grind it to same size.This method usually has the specialized spraying factory for processing repair,The cost is relatively low.

Surfacing the wear-resistant alloy at the threaded part of the screw of the wearing granulator .Surfacing welding 1-2mm thick according to the degree of wearing screw,Then grind the screw to the size. The wear-resistant alloy consists of C, Cr, VI, Co, W and B materials,Increase the wear-resistance and corrosion-resistance of the screw.  

Hard-chromium plating method can also be used to repair the screw of pelletizer,Chrome is also a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant metal,But the hard-chrome layer is easy to fall off .
